Bev and Paul have had some terrible shopping experiences recently, which seems odd when shops say they are struggling for business!
OK, assuming we bears had thumbs, a big thumbs down to the following:
OK, assuming we bears had thumbs, a big thumbs down to the following:
- Amazon for using DPD to deliver the printer cartridge - they were utterly useless, turning up out of the blue to deliver the item and then telling you that you had one more chance of delivery before they returned your goods to the seller! You can't track your parcel and a depot over 20 miles away is NOT local!
- Waitrose home delivery for getting our orders oh so wrong - we ordered lasagne but got luxury custard instead, we ordered bread but it was missing from our delivery, we got the wrong yogurts, we got the wrong milk...... Usually, they are very good but the person picking our shopping must have been blind!
- Sainsburys for saying they were open 24 hours a day but when we turned at 8pm there was no food on the shelves! You're NOT open if you have nothing to sell!
- Currys, where the staff were pleasant but totally useless when Bev went looking for a pair of Dr Dre headphones. Yes they had the silver ones in stock, but no she couldn't see or hear them because they were in a sealed box! Bev was trying to buy headphones, not a box - she wants to hear, see and wear the headphones! And when they finally found a pair for her to try they couldn't get them to work!
- And finally to Tesco Direct, who took months to get a Christmas toy for Paul, then forgot to tell him it was in stock and returned it to the warehouse!
