Penrith

Bev had to return to Penrith last week, which was no hardship as it gave her a chance to try out the new car on a long trip. She took Phoebe and myself as we had enjoyed our visit to the hotel on Valentine's Day, and she thought we would enjoy more time in the hotel pool and spa.

The drive to Penrith was a joy in the new car - we were belted in as we have a tendency to slide around on the leather seats when Bev is burning rubber.

The hotel was lovely, and while Bev had her meeting with customers or worked from her hotel room, we lazed around the pool and Phoebe had a pawdicure. All in all, it was a wonderful two days away from home.

Valentine's Day in Penrith!

Ok, here I am with Phoebe, celebrating Valentine's Day at a posh hotel in Penrith! It was a wonderful day as the hotel is lovely, with a pool, jaccuzi and spa - while Bev was out visiting a customer, Phoebe spent the afternoon having her claws manicured and being pampered, and I lazed around the pool, then we had a lovely romantic dinner for two. Bev had her dinner in her room as she wanted us to have some quality time together. All in all, a very romantic Valentine's Day for the two of us.

The food was delicious - scrummy black pudding sausages and mash, chips and champagne! What more could two bears in love ask for? Well, we could have asked for a big, bouncy bed! And that is exactly what we had - you could have got Paul, Bev and about 12 bears in that bed, it was so big!!!
