Prince2:2009 late :-)

Is Bev alone in finding it amusing and worrying that Prince2:2009 - the newly updated methodology designed to help project managers deliver projects on time - is late?  It was due to be released in early 2009, but now the anticipated release date is mid - late June 2009!  How much faith can you have in a project management methodology when the methodology itself is delivered late?  Or were they not using Prince2 to deliver this project?

Bev passed her exam!

For those of you who didn't hear the scream of delight from deepest darkest Hertfordshire, this is to let you know that Bev passed her Prince2 Practitioner exam. She was convinced that she had failed, but we bears and Paul knew she would pass because she worked really, really hard before the exam. Ok Paul, we need to celebrate - book a table at Trattoria Vecchia for 2 kidults and 6 bears! Don't leave us behind this time, pleeeeeeese!

Poor Bev

I know it has been over a week since Bev's exam, but I haven't had time to blog since then, because I have been comforting my human. She did try her best, but feels on this occasion that her best probably wasn't good enough, so she may have to re-sit her Prince2 Practitioner exam. Never mind, we'll cheer her up with lots of cider and ice cream - they always do the trick (not at the same time, though now that I think of it, cider-flavoured ice cream sounds kinda yummy). In the meantime, she will have a well-earned rest and then start reading up on Prince2 again in case she does have to resit the exam.
The new car still has not turned up yet! At this rate, we will get it 4 days before the new registration comes out - doh! And Bev is likely to be going to Penrith next week too, so it looks like we will have to slum it in the "old" car (only kidding) rather than riding in the car with the wipe clean seats in case we have a little accident! Never mind, it looks like the day we go to Penrith will be Valentine's Day! Phoebe will think I'm wonderful if that happens, and Bruno the Italian naturist bear will be history! Yes!!! I will need to get her a nice card and treat her to some chocolates and champagne - that will surely do the trick.

Give that girl a pat on the back!

Bev passed her Prince2 Foundation exam on Friday with flying colours - she got 95%, which is pretty good in our books. Well done Bev! All that hard work and pouring over her books worked a treat. And I was there to mop her fevered brow during the week, while Bill swanned off to deepest, darkest Lancashire and filled his fat little tummy with Cinder Toffee.
And is Bev resting on her laurels now that she has passed her exam? Is she chooky! She has the Practitioner exam booked for early February, so it's back to the grindstone for her.
