Ok, Paul discovered that the reason we weren't getting any liquid out of the wormery was because the tap was blocked, and when he released it all this black liquid gushed out - OMG, the stench was horrible! It smelled of block drains! This is worm wee, so we're not surprised it smells, but we are surprise it stinks quite to much - we were almost sick, but Paul the plumber was fine, saying he had smelled worse (what could be worse than worm wee and what do people get up to in their toilets if he has smelled worse that this?).
Anyway, he bottled it up and then started splashing it all over the garden, so we closed the windows and doors before we were overcome by the disgusting stench. Hopefully our neighbours weren't planning on having a relaxing evening in their gardens with a nice glass of wine - if so, they have probably complained to the council about blocked drains!
Paul is even suggesting we bottle it up and give it to people to put on their plants. You must be joking! It might be a wonderful fertiliser, but you would need to wear a gas mask if you lived within 10 miles of this stuff - it is toxic! Mind you, it would be excellent to throw over people we don't like, so burglers beware!
Our advice is to avoid plumbing and worm wee - it would appear that both smell pretty disgusting!
