Here are some photographs from the rest of our fab holiday Monday! After visiting Jane Austen's house, we walked to Chawton House, an Elizabethan grade 2 listed building which belonged to Jane's brother. It has been renovated and is now The Centre for the Study of Early English Women's Writing, 1600-1830.
Spot the renovated shepherd's caravan in the foreground.
The Church where both Jane's sister and mother are buried is beside Chawton House.
The gravestones of both Jane's sister and mother.
A view of the beautiful Hampshire countryside and the countryside that Jane Austen would have been familiar with.
