Oh no, we were all snowed-in last week! It started snowing on Sunday night, with heavy snow and blizzards on Monday, followed by days of freezing temperatures, widespread ice and further heavy snow falls on Thursday and Friday.
We bears, Tony and Kitty have had a great week building snow bears and having snowball fights. But it was hell for people having to commute to work - there was a 57-mile traffic jam on the M25 (sounds normal to us) and chaos on public transport (so what's new?). Poor Bev was unable to get to the office except on Wednesday, but at least she could work from home instead. Mind you, by Friday she and Kitty were getting a touch of cabin fever after being stuck in the house all week! And of course, Paul had to prove he was a macho man by driving to various local and not so local places, but he said the roads were "hell" and he wouldn't recommend it!
So, what is the forecast for next week? Yup, more snow and ice, but just to make it more exciting, the councils are running out of salt to grit the roads! Oh joy!
