What happened to the winter?

Last Tuesday, poor Bev was scraping ice off the car windscreen at dark o'clock, and today (Sunday) it reached 26 C in what was a gloriously sunny and warm day! So, what happened to our winter? Poor Kitty and us bears were starting to put on our thicker coats for the chilly winter months, but yesterday we had to shed all that extra fur or we would have suffered from heat exhaustion!
