Things we would like to do on holiday

We have discovered the brilliant VisitScotland website (http://top10.visitscotland.com/default.aspx) where you can discover your Scottish top 10 things to see and do. Bev and I have been using this to work out what we want to do when we on holiday in sunny Stirling. So, here is our list so far:

  • Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum - Scotland's top tourist attraction
  • Isle of May to see the puffins
  • Red Kite Feeding Station at Lerrocks, just north of Stirling
  • Scottish Deer Centre in Cupar, where you can also see wolves
  • Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig, where you can (hopefully) see wildcats
  • Ospreys at Loch Garten
  • Scotland's secret bunker in Fife
  • Take a train up Cairngorm mountain
  • House of an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park
  • Rosslyn Chapel to do a bit of Da Vinci sleuthing
  • Steam train from Fort William to Mallaig and back again (the Hogwarts Express)
You will have spotted that there are 11 items in our top 10, but that's ok by us bears (we can't count anyway).

Mind you, if it is raining and cold, we'll just sit indoors, drink coffee and eat tablet, and watch old black and white movies with Carlos :-)
