It is usually Bev who gets a mucky face at the racing, but last night Paul got a very mucky face indeed during his marshalling at Coventry. Here is a photograph showing his extreme muckiness.
At least Paul had an excuse for a mucky face, unlike Bev - he was marshalling, not just spectating!
Sunday has been spent washing his overalls, safety glasses, face, hair (what is left of it), ears and his eyes - he got shale in his eyes, so had to bathe them in Optrex. No wonder bears, chimps and cats don't become marshals - all that dirt in our fur would be horrible!
