Hooray, we are finally getting the new car on Saturday morning at 9.30am! Yipee! Bev has signed all the paperwork and organised temporary insurance, while the garage will be taxing the car tomorrow (Friday) so that the car is ready for the humans to collect on Saturday morning. We're all so excited that we will probably be standing outside the garage at 4am on Saturday morning with our noses pressed up against the glass waiting for them to open!
Ok humans, so where are we off to when we collect the new car? Which stretch of road will we use as our race track? And when do we bears get to try out the new car? Paul keeps telling us (including Bev) that the car has to be "run-in" - I thought he meant we had to crash it, but it seems to mean driving the car at a sensible speed for a while. Errr, it's a sports car, so it has to be driven fast. Perhaps we just need to leave Paul behind while we take the car out for a test drive :-)
Bev, Paul, Hamish, Bill, Phoebe, Little Ted, Bruno and Magnus, all counting down the hours until we collect the new car and start burning rubber!
