We finally have news about our new car - the poor humans are getting very distressed as the car has not turned up yet, and Paul in particular has become seriously grumpy because it looks like they will get a new car with a 56 registration only 4 days before the new registration comes out. And we bears are getting very distressed too, as we want to race up and down the motorway in our new sporty car. It takes 3 bears to work the car - one to work the pedals, one to steer and the other one to change the gears - and we are quite good at it, though Phoebe has to stand on a cushion to see over the steering wheel and she doesn't like working the pedals as she is worried she gets her clothes grubby. Never mind, Bill and I like working the pedals (especially the acceleration pedal) and the gears, and we don't mind getting dirty :-)
Anyway, the poor people at the garage have obviously had enough of Paul's continual grumpiness, and have agreed that the car will be registered as an 07 car - Yipee!! That is the good news, but the bad news is that we now have to wait until early March to collect the car - bum! Paul is much happier now, though it means that we will have to drive the old car for a few more weeks. Paws crossed we get it in time for Bev's next visit to Penrith on the 13th of March.
