Hi, Phoebe again with an announcement - Bill has recruited me as an apprentice Care Bear to help look after the two high-maintenance humans. Things came to a head at the weekend when both of our humans were ill and were up at 2.30 in the morning - Bev with a horrible head and tummy, and Paul with a cough (he just can't see green cheese - he always has to be ill when she is!). Anyway, Hamish got up to care for Bev, but then he snuck back to bed and slept with Paul, getting a great sleep, while poor Bill had to look after Bev. Bill called a meeting in the morning to reprimand Hamish for being naughty and threatened to send him back to the Toy Shop unless he agreed to go for re-training. Bill needs Hamish to pull his considerable weight and he needs to recruit additional resources so that he can have a rest. So, we now have Bill as head Care Bear (he's actually a Chartered Care Bear - I've seen his certificate), Hamish as a Care Bear undergoing re-training, and me as an apprentice Care Bear. Surely 3 Care Bears are enough to look after even our high-maintenance humans!
Paws crossed Hamish behaves himself from now on - we love him dearly, but he can be very naughty at times!
