Frankie didn't have a particularly good night at Kings Lynn last night - he came 10th in the final and pulled off in the Grand National. Andy Smith had a flat tyre in the final, so didn't finish, but he won the Grand National while playing his joker, which means he gets double points! According to a source on Stoxnet, that now means that Frankie has 877 points and Smithy has 842 points (Hamish nibbling his claws!).
We bears have a theory about the points this year. If Frankie wins the National Points Championship this year, he will equal Andy's daddy's record of winning it 13 times. Andy has rarely appeared interested in winning the National Points Championship in that time, but we think daddy Smith has now told Andy Smith to stop Frankie! We're rooting for Frankie (naturally) because to us bears is he God, and he turns up every week and puts so much into the sport - we don't want someone winning it who only turns up when there is a prize to be won or when the points count towards the National Points Championship! We're rooting for you Frankie - go, Frankie, go!
