Well, as you know, last week we reported Little Ted missing in action somewhere in Scotland. We took him to Stirling but when we packed our cases to return south, he was no-where to be found. He probably wanted to stay in Stirling rather than go to Blackpool, despite the fact I had scheduled him to go there so that he could look after Paul.
Anyway, we bears had a complete panic as Little Ted was now a lost and defenceless bear in a strange county, and I worried that I would get the blame and be demoted from being top bear in the house. It really was Paul's fault for being so careless! But, the day was saved by the nice lady in Stirling, who not only found Little Ted, but arranged for her bears to look after him during his stay in Stirling, and she organised transport for his return south. He was carefully packaged up, along with some sandwiches and tablet in case he got hungry, and posted home. He arrived on Saturday morning, safe and sound, if a little squashed in a large jiffy bag. He thought the whole experience was really exciting, and now has a certain kudos amongst the bears as he is the only one who has travelled by post!
Oh dear, my job is never done - I need to organise the bears, allocate them to care for the humans as required, sort out their travel arrangements, decide who goes to the racing and who stays at home, and make sure the humans purchase enough bear-treats for all our needs. Perhaps I need an assistant! Bill, do you fancy a job?
