Key events coming up in Hamish's diary

A trip to Orkney in June, combined with a trip to Bev's parents in Scotland and going to the racing at Cowdenbeath and Knockhill. We're taking Bill to visit Bev's parents - her dad is called Carlos, after the famous banger driver Carlos Perez from Macclesfield. We're all going up to Orkney for a week - not sure that Bev's parents know that Bill and myself will be sharing the driving to Orkney, but hopefully they will be fine about it.
But before all of that, we will be going to the motor racing at Northampton with Ashleigh, Bethany and Jack on the 20th of May. We'll get to look round the pits, drool over the cars (and drivers - Bev, not us bears!), watch the racing, eat too many burgers and drink too much cider. I'm looking forward to it already. Mustn't forget to wear our reflective vests in the pits!
We bears just have way too much fun!
The photograph shows me sitting on the beach at Loch Maree in Wester Ross.
