Bev had just got home from work yesterday when suddenly all the power went off! Oh no, and we hadn't had our dinner yet! Luckily, the flashlight app on Bev's phone gave enough light for Bev and Paul to find the torches, candles and lighter, so that very soon we had some dim illumination in the lounge. But what are we having for tea, we cried (secretly hoping for our second pizza of the day)? But no pizza materialised - instead we had a candle-lit picnic in the lounge with plates of baked beans, bread and butter, yogurts, cakes and cans of cider!
