Winter is indeed upon us, Part 2!

It is now so cold in Scotland that the Nice Lady says the River Clyde has frozen over, and there are plans to hold a curling championship on the Lake of Menteith if the ice reaches a depth of 7 inches!   Paws crossed Bill and Phoebe haven't been digging holes in the ice to catch seals, or they might lose some of their curling stones and players!

So what's next?  Woolly Mammoths roaming the streets of Stirling and Hertfordshire?  Another ice age? 

And what happened to global warming?  There's not much warming going on in the UK at the moment, unless you count Friday's forecast of 4 degrees Celsius!  Sounds positively tropical in comparison with the temperatures we have just experienced.
