2009: what happened
- Bev was made redundant from her job in May 2009 - she hated the job and some of the people she worked with, so every cloud has a silver lining!
- Bev got a new job and she loves it - the job is great, the commute is a delight, the people she works with are lovely, and Bev doesn't miss anything about her old job at all!
- Bev & Paul had a short holiday in Scotland for the Nice Lady's 80th Birthday!
- We all had lots of lovely days out during the fabulous summer months - Southwold, Regent's Park Zoo, Chawton (Jane Austen's House), Finchingfield (Essex), Silsoe Park, and Herne Bay.
- Poor Frankie struggled with his cars and engines all year, finally missing out on both the gold and silver roofs to the Smiths.
- Paul had a fun year marshalling at the Brisca F1 races, and was a marshal at the 2009 semi-final at Coventry Stadium
- Bev & Paul ordered a new car - the Peugeot 3008 (Crossover) - which should hopefully be ready for March 2010
- Poor Kitty fought to retain control of the shed, but an evil black & white brute of a cat seems to have won the battle for the moment. Bev and Paul have joined in the fight, so hopefully Kitty will regain his territory in the spring.
- And finally, Bev discovered the fabulous Bear Behaving Badly TV programme for bears - we love Neville the blue bear, his friend Crazy Keith the Koala, Barney and Angry Pants (Andy Prank) the caretaker.
- March: a new car, the Peugeot Crossover, with glass roof and iPod connector!
- April: the start of the new Stock Car racing season
- June: holiday in Scotland visiting Carlos and the Nice Lady from Stirling, as well as going to the Scottish Weekend racing events at Cowdenbeath and Knockhill
- Paul marshalling at the 2010 Brisca F1 World Final at Coventry in September
- Picnics and days out in the new car during the year
