We were just sitting down to a yummy meal of pasta when Kitty suddenly appeared at the window with a big fat rabbit in his mouth. Kitty made it clear that he wanted to bring the rabbit into the house NOW, but Bev was having none of it and studiously ignored him whilst eating her dinner. Paul on the other paw decided to go out and see Kitty AFTER he had eaten his dinner, but since Paul is the slowest eater on the planet, this took over an hour! As a resuilt, Kitty was pacing up and down the back garden for all that time with the bunny in his mouth. When Paul appeared in the back garden, Kitty dropped the bunny to show Paul what a wonderful present he had caught for our tea, but to Paul's (and presumably Kitty's) surprise the bunny got up and ran off!
Since Kitty has very few teef left, we are hoping that the experience didn't cause the bunny too much distress, pain or damage. Paws crossed it is ok and lives to fight another day!
