A giant leap for teddykind!

One small step for teddies, one giant leap for teddykind! Yup, teddies have finally made it into space! Cambridge University's Spaceflight launched four teddynauts into space in December, and here is a photograph to prove it.
Their spacesuits were made from foil, foam and gaffer tape by pupils from Cambridge schools, and protected the teddies from temperatures of -50C. Brrrrr!
All four teddynauts parachuted safely back to earth to prepare for their next space mission.
Well done to those brave teddynauts, and hopefully one day Bill, Phoebe and myself will get a chance to join the Teddy Space Program and go into outer space!
