Someone recently sent Bev a joke about a Glaswegian librarian, which she really enjoyed because in the dim and distant past she herself was a librarian in Glasgow. Here it is for your enjoyment but don't read any further if you are easily offended!
A bloke walks into a Glasgow library and says to the prim librarian,'Excuse me Miss, dey ye hiv any books on suicide?' To which she stops doing her tasks, looks at him over the top of her glasses and says, 'Fook off, ye'll no bring it back"
