Relaxing Weekend & Racing News

Wow, what a relaxing weekend we had - lots of sleep, an additional hour of the big zeds as the clocks went back (you did remember, didn't you?) and nothing more strenuous than stretching a paw out to change the TV channel or sip a cup of something warm and relaxing. Yes, hibernation weather is on its way, but we bears (this applies to all the bears except Bill and Phoebe, who are polar bears and don't hibernate) will resist this as it would mean missing Christmas, and what bear in his or her right mind would miss Santa, prezzies and lots of yummy food?

Ok, so that was our very relaxing weekend. And now for the racing news.....Frankie did very well at Kings Lynn this weekend (Bev and Paul didn't go, unfortunately), beating both the Smith brothers and increasing his lead over them in the National Series. However, as they go into the finale at the next Kings Lynn meeting in November, Frankie is only about 18 points ahead, and as we know from last year, anything can happen on the night. Go, Frankie, Go - you can win back your silver roof! And even if you don't win it back, we won't care - we like your red roof and will be cheering you on as always!
