At the B&B in Skegness last weekend, Paul was distracted whilst looking for brown sugar for his coffee and picked up a squidgy sachet that said "Brown ...." - the squidgy bit should have alerted him to the fact that this was NOT sugar, but brown sauce. Doh! He squeezed it out of the sachet into his coffee before spotting his error, but the coffee was so tasteless anyway that some brown sauce probably gave it a bit of body and flavour. Needless to say, we were helpless with laughter under the table.
To his credit Paul did actually drink some of the brown liquid in his cup, which was very brave but also very foolish as it gave him chronic indigestion afterwards! We were hoping he had found a new flavour of coffee that we could sell and make our fortunes, but unfortunately it looked and smelled disgusting. Does anyone out there think a brown-sauce flavoured coffee would sell well? Should we suggest it to Starbucks or Costa coffee?
