More dim customers :-(

The nice lady in Stirling tried to suggest that Paul is grumpy because that is his nature, but we think he had good reason to be grumpy with all these dim customers.

Dim customer No 1: "I had no hot water last week". Paul starts investigating, but can't find anything wrong. Dim customer then says "it was a terrible week - the lift wasn't working either because there was a power cut". Paul stopped investigating and asks if the lack of hot water coincided with the power cut. Dim customer blushes and says "yes". Doh! There is no problem with the hot water unit, it just couldn't heat up the water BECAUSE THERE WAS A POWER CUT!

Dim customer No 2: Paul arrives to investigate a problem with the hot water unit. He says he needs to switch it on to see what the faults is. Dim customer asks why he has to switch it on - "can't you just tell what is wrong with it by looking at it?" No, Dim Customer, he is not psychic - he needs to switch it on to identify the fault!

No wonder Paul comes home grumpy!
