Brrrrrrrrr

Help ma boab, but it was cold last night! I sneaked us bears (me, Bill, Phoebe and Little Ted) into the bed and under the covers before the humans decided it was time for bed. We were in the middle, which was the warmest bit of the bed, and while there was a bit of jostling for position with the humans, we were all as warm as toast. Bears like to sleep in a huddle, so we'll need to educate our humans to join us in a big huddle under the covers - it's like hibernating in a cave.
Bill - so what do you know about hibernating, Hamish? You have never lived in the wild! You were bought from a shop and have lived with Bev and Paul ever since, just like me (except I lived with boisterous children for a while - yeuch!). We even wear clothes, for goodness sakes! You don't think I would want to damage my Next trousers lying in some damp cave, do you? And what about Phoebe's pretty dress?
Hamish - oh dear, I didn't think about that. I like to pretend I'm a wild bear, but I'm a bit of a wimp, really. I like living in a warm house, having nice clothes to wear, eating good food (not goldfinches, though they make yummy snacks), and going to the stock car racing. Let's just pretend that we're wild bears, but enjoy the comfortable living we've become accustomed to!
