Another good night’s racing for Frankie
Hi, it's Hamish MacBear, cub reporter, with some comments on last night's excellent racing - lots of cars, action and pushing, along with tons of testosterone – just what we bears like! And Frankie didn’t do so badly in amongst all of that. He recorded a heat win, came 3rd in the Final behind Paul Harrison and Lee Robinson, and won the Grand National. There were some excellent tussles between the drivers, with some of them riding up the grass bank.
Poor Mark Gilbank wasn't there after the damage he recieved last Sunday, but Carlos is still racing , and Hayleigh (the 16-year old girl racer) did very well, holding Frankie off until the final bend in their heat – she came in second, which is brilliant, considering this is her first season in F1’s. It won’t be long until she wins a race.
Racing on Sunday is in Sheffield, but we won’t be going unfortunately – it’s too far and anyway, we’re off to a yummy BBQ instead! Next racing is good old Brum again in a fortnight’s time for the 2nd Semi-Final. We’re quivering with anticipation already! Hi, it's Phoebe here - remember to wear bibs at the BBQ, boys, so that you don't get greasy paw marks on your nice new Frankie t-shirts! I'll be using my Frankie thong to mop up any greasy marks on my dress - sorry Hamish, thanks for the present, but I will NOT wear a thong!
