Only 17 days until our Scottish Holiday!

Well, it's less than 3 weeks until our holidays, so Bill and I are starting to pack our clothes and goodies - jackets, fleeces, t-shirts, compass, passports (no undies, as we bears go commando style!). Bill has a very smart jacket with ears on the hood - he thinks it makes him look silly, but I think he looks smart. My jacket used to belong to Jack, and is very smart too.
Firstly, we drive to Stirling to stay with Bev's parents (Carlos and the nice lady), and from there we can go to the racing at Cowdenbeath and Knockhill. Then, after a few days, we will head up to Thurso, get the ferry to Orkney and stay in Stromness for a week. We are really excited as there will be so much to see and do in Orkney:
  • Skara Brae and Maes Howe tomb
  • The Italian Chapel - built by Italian prisoners of war to look like the Sistine Chapel
  • St Magnus Cathedral
  • Tomb of the Eagles in South Ronaldsay
  • Old Man of Hoy
  • and lots of other things to see and do

Bev's got her new camera, so there will be lots of photographs of us in Orkney - look out for photographs of us on the beach, with Carlos, in our new Frankie t-shirts (to be collected at Cowdenbeath). Oh, the excitement, the anticipation! We're counting down the days on our paws - 17 days until we head up north!
