Frankie won again - Yippee!

Frankie won again last night and was in blistering form! It was so exciting that we were jumping up and down on our little paws. There were lots of accidents, the ambulances had to be brought out when a driver lost consciousness, and Frankie had to weld up the track fence after a ministox driver crashed into it! Ashleigh, Bethany and Jack came along with us, but it was probably just a blur of cars and crashes to them - it's difficult to follow the races unless you know who all the drivers are. But they did enjoy ringing the bell when the winning drivers were brought round on their lap of honour.
Bev bought 2 more model cars last night - 490 (Mark Taylor) and 391 (Andy Smith). She has a race track with model cars on the dining room table (see photographs) - most normal people have a Lazy Susan or table mat in the middle of their dining room tables, but our humans have a race track! Paul has added to the collection with little tractors and recovery vehicles, and is looking out for little people too. They constantly talk about the racing during meals, demonstrating tactics using the cars, setting up crashes, bringing out the ambulance, etc, and of course, we get to play with the cars when Bev and Paul are out at work.

And how mucky was Bev's face on a scale of 1 (not bad at all) to 5 (serious Desperate Dan stubble / mud-pack look)? Actually, not too bad at all, only a few black spots, so we'll give her a 1 for her mucky face this week.
Next racing is definitely Cowdenbeath and Knockhill on the 10th/11th of June, but I suspect there might be a trip to Kings Lynn next weekend to watch the racing as well - our humans can't go too many weeks without going to the racing as they need their adrenalin fix.
